2010 Charitable Donation - House of Hope

Our Charter and Mission commit our club to making charitable donations each year. We believe it is important that we reach out to the general community because we are all blessed to have each other and disc golf in our lives. Last year we made a donation to a great local charity in Crowley named House of Hope. They run a thrift store, a pantry and even a clinic. So we were glad to again this year make an even larger donation to help this great organization.

We are most grateful for your support of the Crowley House of Hope.

Your donation of $500.00, helped assist and make an impact on the lives of 879 children and 327 families this Christmas season.
In November,we distributed 290 Thanksgiving sacks to families in the area and the Snack Sack Program begun last fall continues to grow and we currently are providing nourishment for the weekends to over 257 school children each week. Through many generous gifts we have been able to increase this from 90 children per week during the last school year.
Our requests for support has increased from over 200 individuals per month in the past year to now over 700 per month.  The need is great and it continues to grow.
