Yeah buddy! Jerome Knott is getting renewed and has extra money to go to an event. From the past two qualifiers I've learned that if the winner can't make it to the event that its just as fair for them to use their earnings in an upcoming event or their membership. The tournament is based on how much an upcoming PDGA event costs and that's used to determine qualified earnings for the winners in each division. The Non-PDGA division is always 1 out of 6 best low scores advance for membership. A beginner based on their skills alone can play two strong qualifier tourneys and be a PDGA member and get sponsored from the 800-900 division. That $20 can go a long way at one tourney win you get membership. The next tourney win get qualified to play in Recreational or Intermediate in the PDGA and win that event and get tons of plastic, a killer trophy and all kinds of bragging rights for making it so far in the game.
