Quick Stop Convenience Store

David has run the Quick Stop convenience store near the Vet for over six years and immediately recognized the local disc golfer’s need for merchandise. David started ordering discs from Innova and Discraft before he knew much at all about the game. Disc sales became an instant hit at the store and David actively listened to the feedback he was getting from all the local golfers. From those humble beginnings the disc golf merchandise selection has grown to become one of the largest and best selections in the metroplex.

David got to know the golfers who came to his store and steadily began to develop a relationship with all the ADGA golfers and casuals who play Veterans Park in Arlington. Quick Stop has sponsored numerous tournaments at the Vet as well as other local events at Turner Park and in Crowley. The ADGA has come to rely on their friend to come through for them whenever they ask.

Continuing his support of the local disc golf scene, David has made a $100 donation to the Veterans Ice Bowl and $120 donation to the Funkytown Flyers Course Development Initiative. We are proud to have such a great friend in the business community and look forward to working with David more in the future.

When you go play the Vet you should stop by the Quick Stop and thank them for supporting the Funkytown Flyers. Once you are there you will be blown away by the selection of the latest discs and merchandise. The Quick Stop is just East of the course down Arkansas Lane. Before you get to the first light there in Dalworthington Gardens you will see the Innova flags flying on your right. Perhaps you will even see David’s pickup truck, which is covered in disc golf stickers including a full-size image of Ken Climo on the driver door. David has done so much for local disc golf scene, we hope you support him whenever you can.
