Weatherford Wednesday Night Mini 3/2/2011

Here are the results for the Wednesday Night Mini at Weatherford Disc Golf Course.

This week was the singles round.  We had a total of 7 golfers for the night round.  The course was the busiest I have  seen in a long time when we pulled in at 6:00.  There were groups on almost every hole.  It amazing how many new players have started playing the course in the last couple of years.  I still remember the time when you could play a whole round and never see another player.  It’s great to see the sport growing.

We added $14 more to the course fund with entries last night.

Players:  Josh, Adrian, Ryan, Scott, Dave, Barry and myself (Drew).

I  took home the win with a score of 47 (-7) with Dave close behind at 48 (-6).  Adrian Cordova took 3rd with a 51 (-3).

The time changes in a couple of weeks so we will have more daylight and we should have more players showing up.  We rotate between singles and doubles each week.
