Inches of Mercury and I.O.M Pro Shop
The Funkytown Flyers would like to officially list “Inches of Mercury” as a sponsor and proud supporter of the Funkytown Flyers and Fort Worth disc golf.
Established in 2004 the guys of “Inches”, Brandon Melton and Curtis Morey (musicians and disc golfers) have worked tirelessly to support and promote local disc golf. What started as an artistic/music endeavor, Inches of Mercury-the band, quickly grew to include much more. After constructing a recording and rehearsal studio in Haltom city the guys’ approached the city’s parks board with plans to design and install what is now North park disc golf course which opened in early ’07. With this success and the realization of five more courses, a need for disc golf advocacy and equipment dealers serving the local community became apparent directing them to open I.O.M. Pro Shop which opened its doors July 1st of this year.
